Passing the CILS and CELI exams allows you to obtain an official certification that attests to your Italian language proficiency.
These certifications are valuable for both professional and academic opportunities. At our school, you can take all levels of the CILS and CELI exams.
The exam will take place in Via Sant’Egidio 12, 50122 Florence, Italy.
CILS exam details
The CILS certification is issued by the University for Foreigners of Siena and is one of the main official certifications for Italian as a foreign language.

CILS exams are usually held twice a year, in June and December, for all levels. The next available exam dates are:

⚠️ The provisional certificate has the value of a self-certification. It can be used for residence permit or citizenship applications, but its acceptance depends on the authority. In some cases, the original paper certificate with a unique QR code is required.

CELI exam details
Recognized internationally, the CELI certification is an official Italian language exam developed by the University for Foreigners of Perugia.
